Julio Razon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Julio started their career at Banff Ptarmigan Inn in 2010, where they worked as a Houskeeper for two years. In 2011, they joined McDonald's as a Crew Trainer and stayed with the company for four years. In 2014, Julio briefly worked as a Busboy at The Gateway. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Guest Service Agent at Holiday Inn Canmore. In 2016, Julio began working at Mountain Mercato as a Barista/Server, a role they held for two years. During the same period, they also served as a Front Desk Supervisor at Waymarker Hospitality, a position they held until 2021. Julio then worked as a Barista at Gravity Espresso And Wine Bar before becoming a Cafe Manager there. Julio held this position until 2023. Currently, Julio is working as a Concierge Support at Virtuo.
Julio Razon has a diverse education history. Julio started their educational journey in 2011 at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2014.
After completing high school, Julio attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Diploma in Hospitality Management. Following this, they pursued further education at SAIT from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a Certificate in Accelerated Accounting.
In 2019, Julio returned to SAIT and completed a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, which lasted until 2021. Julio then continued their studies at SAIT and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Management, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
Julio also holds several additional certifications that contribute to their professional development. In December 2014, they obtained a certification in Food Sanitation and Hygiene from the Government of Alberta. In February and March 2021, Julio completed various LinkedIn courses, including "Leading Change," "Leading from the Middle," "Leading through Relationships," "Leading with Vision," "Organizational Culture," "Building Resilience," and "Leading with Emotional Intelligence." Additionally, they obtained the "Pro-Serve" certification from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission in October 2014. Most recently, in April 2023, Julio became an Associate Member of CIM | Chartered Managers Canada.
