Peter Betts

Peter Betts has a strong background in engineering and data center operations. Peter has worked in various roles, including Engineering Director at VIRTUS Data Centres, where they were responsible for overseeing the engineering operations. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Engineer at Green Building Design Consultants Ltd, where they focused on delivering sustainable and integrated building services design solutions. Additionally, Peter has experience as an Operations Director at Sentrum, where they were responsible for managing the total operation of data centers for blue chip clients. Peter also worked as a Facilities Engineer Manager at Arqiva, overseeing multiple sites and data centers. Earlier in their career, Peter worked as an Engineer at Intel Corporation and as a Shift Engineer at Mars Confectionary.

Peter Betts has a diverse education history. From 1990 to 1994, they attended the Royal Navy Engineering School, where they earned a degree in HND Plant Engineering with a focus on Electrics and Electronics. Following this, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued further education at Blackburn College, specializing in Electrics and Electronics to obtain an HND in Engineering. To enhance their knowledge in the field, they then pursued a Master of Science degree in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University London, which they completed from 2001 to 2003.
