Peter Petko

Peter Petko is an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager with a solid background in managing day-to-day operations in various high-profile data centres. Currently serving as the DC Operations Manager at VIRTUS Data Centres since December 2015, Peter oversees site operations and leads a maintenance team while catering to a diverse customer portfolio. Prior experience includes similar managerial roles at Infinity SDC and Sky, where responsibilities encompassed contract and capacity management as well as operational expansion planning. Peter's career began at TelecityGroup, where roles progressed from Customer Service Engineer to Senior Customer Service Engineer, providing extensive support and infrastructure management. Peter holds a Master's degree in Structural Mechanics and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, alongside A level qualifications in Math, Physics, Literature, and English.
