Roni Michaely

Roni Michaely has extensive experience in academia and entrepreneurship. Roni is currently a Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at The University of Hong Kong and serves as the Founding Executive Director of HKU-TLV Innovation Hub. Additionally, they are a Co-Founder of VirtuSwap, a Board Member of TipRanks, and the Co-Founder of Gina Life. Roni has also served as an Advisory Board Member for Ourcart and Nielsen Innovate. Prior to their current positions, they held Professor of Finance roles at the Geneva Finance Research Institute - University of Geneva, Cornell Tech, and Cornell University.

Roni Michaely's education journey began in 1981 at Tel Aviv University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics in 1985. Following this, they pursued further education at NYU Stern School of Business from 1985 to 1990, during which they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Finance and Economics.
