Jón Árni Traustason

Jón Árni Traustason has extensive work experience in the field of data analysis and IT. Jón Árni began their career as an intern at VBS Investment Bank in 2008 before transitioning to a role as an Exjob at Swedbank in 2009. In 2010, Jón Árni joined Skeljungur hf, where they served as Head of IT and Analysis until 2018. During their time at Skeljungur hf, they also held a position in Business Intelligence from 2010 to 2014. In 2018, Jón Árni joined VÍS Insurance Ltd as Head of Data Analysis.

Jón Árni Traustason obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Háskóli Íslands from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Financial Mathematics from Uppsala University from 2007 to 2009.
