Reynir Jóhannsson

Reynir Jóhannsson has extensive experience in various financial roles. Reynir is currently the Director of Financial Services at VÍS Insurance Ltd. Previously, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at HS Orka and Kvos hf, where they were responsible for overseeing financial operations and implementing budgeting and reporting systems. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Financial Advisor at The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council, managing accounting and payroll functions. Reynir also served as the Chief Financial Officer at hugur hf, overseeing accounting activities and financial analyses. Early in their career, they worked as a Budget Officer at The City of Reykjavik and as a Project Manager - CFO at Reykjavik Water Works.

Reynir Jóhannsson earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Háskóli Íslands in 1994. Reynir then went on to complete a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University from 1994 to 1996.
