Marco Scanu

Marco Scanu is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business. Marco is currently an Official Member of Forbes Business Council and has held this position since 2022. From 2010 to 2021, they were the Founder and CEO of Visa Business Plans and Managing Partner of www.visabusinessplans.com. Marco was also a Member of the Board of Advisors at FIU - Eugene Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center from 2011 to 2021, a Professional Business & Executive Coach at 345 Group LLC from 2010 to 2021, VP Membership - South Florida Chapter at International Coach Federation - coachfederation.org from 2010 to 2021, a Venture Coach at The Launch Pad from 2009 to 2021, and a Board Member at Hospitality Entrepreneurship Advisory Council from 2009 to 2021. From 1993 to 2009, they were the Chief Executive Officer of VIVALDI GELATO, where they led an organization that grew three-fold in two years and revamped the marketing strategy that increased comp sales by 120% in two years. Marco was also a Business Coach/Consultant at MAG from 2009 to 2021, where they provided positive support to business leaders to help them improve leadership, strategic planning, and goal setting.

Marco Scanu completed their BSBA degree in Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 1987, cum laude. Marco then went on to receive an MBA from SDA Bocconi in 1988-1989. In 2005, they were a Research Scholar - Humphrey Fellowship at Michigan State University, studying high-growth entrepreneurship and Venture Capital. In 2010, they completed the Proficient Coach Program from the University of Miami.
