Leo Gutierrez

Leo Gutierrez currently serves as the Head of Global Analytics, BI & Sales Tools at Visa since February 2024. Prior to this role, Leo held various positions at Western Union from 2008 to March 2024, including Vice President, Head of Global Operations, Data Management, Analytics and Information Systems, where a global practice was delivered that reduced process errors by 40%. Additional roles at Western Union involved implementing a comprehensive Data Governance practice across over 200 countries and establishing a global reporting and analysis practice. Leo's earlier experience includes serving as an Account Manager at IBM Global Services from 2003 to 2008, where oversight of outsourcing operations for Data Entry, Payroll, Benefits, and Call Center was provided. Leo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
