Piers Marais

Piers Marais currently serves as the Global Head of Product for Embedded Cross Border Solutions at Visa since December 2021. With extensive experience in product management, Piers has held the role of Chief Product Officer at Currencycloud since September 2017, alongside various positions including Product Director and Senior Product Owner. Piers also contributes as a Product Management Mentor at Intelligent People since March 2023 and previously served as Director at CG Residents' Association from August 2014 to August 2017. Earlier career roles include Product Manager, Customer Success Manager, and Account Manager at Softcom Solutions from July 2010 to August 2017. Piers Marais holds a Master of Arts in Spanish & Classics from The University of Edinburgh and studied at Universidad de Granada as part of the Erasmus program, focusing on Spanish and Latin.
