Wayne Monfries

Wayne Monfries has over 30 years of experience in tax roles, currently serving as SVP Global Tax at Visa since April 2020. Prior to Visa, Wayne held the position of VP Tax at TransUnion from March 2018 to April 2020, and before that, was Vice President & Chief Tax Officer at Nike, Inc. from August 2007 to February 2017. Wayne's earlier career includes serving as Regional Tax Director at Mars, Incorporated from June 1995 to August 2007, Tax Manager at Bazilio Cobb Associates from 1992 to 1995, and Senior Tax Associate at Coopers & Lybrand from 1988 to 1992. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Georgetown University, earned between 1984 and 1988, and also graduated from Woodlands High School in 1984.
