Curtis Tyree has a diverse work background with experience in various roles and industries. In 1993, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting research on the replication mechanism of the Epstein-Barr virus.
After that, Tyree worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Ligand Pharmaceuticals from 1996 to 2001. In this role, they contributed to scientific research and development. Curtis Tyree has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University, which they obtained between 1984 and 1988. Curtis then pursued their Ph.D. in Biology at UC San Diego from 1988 to 1993. Following this, Curtis completed their postdoctoral studies in Oncology and Cancer Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1996.
