Mr. Valko has served as Viseon’s President and CEO since its inception in August 2017. Prior to Viseon, Mr. Valko spent the first 25 years of his career in various Engineering and Business Development roles at Johnson & Johnson, American Hospital Supply, and Baxter Healthcare. During his Baxter tenure, he served a two-year ex-patriot assignment in Penang, Malaysia as Project Manager for the installation of the world’s largest latex surgical glove manufacturing plant. Upon repatriation back into the United States, he transitioned into MedTech start-up companies and private equity financing. Mr. Valko joined Michael Henson as a member of the MedFocus Management Company and served as CEO of several early-stage portfolio companies, including Ellipse Technologies (sold to NuVasive). He then assumed the role of full-time CEO and co-founder of Reverse Medical Corp. (sold to COVIDIEN/Medtronic), Rebound Therapeutics Corp. (sold to Integra Lifesciences), and now Viseon, Inc. Mr. Valko earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and his Healthcare MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
