Amir Zirin

Amir Zirin is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in research and development, mechanical design, and process engineering. Currently serving as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at Vishay Precision Group, Inc. since July 2022, Amir previously contributed to various projects embedded in STRATASYS Rehovot Israel, CIVAN Advanced Technologies, and Orbotech. Notable roles include working on opto-mechanical systems and laser channels for flat panel displays, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing CAD software for mechanical design. Amir has held positions at well-respected companies such as Intel Corporation, Aeronautics Defense Systems Ltd, and IAI, focusing on structural analysis and development of complex systems. Amir holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, complemented by foundational training from the IDF Junior Command Military Academy.
