Ben Hanson

Ben Hanson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in composite power inductors. Currently serving as a Senior Research and Development Engineering Manager at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. since May 2013, Ben has progressed through various roles, including Engineering Section Supervisor and Senior Research and Development Engineer, managing teams focused on process design and continuous improvement. Previous positions include project management and supervisory roles at RPM Innovations, Trail King Industry - Trailers, and Truxedo, Inc., where Ben gained valuable expertise in manufacturing processes, efficiency improvement, and product development. Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines and pursued coursework in Business Administration at the University of South Dakota.
