Casey Mahalik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a Research Assistant at Druid Press Inc in 2015, assisting with historical research and document organization. In 2016, they served as a Content Writing/Editorial Intern at the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, conducting interviews, editing articles, and organizing exhibit items. From 2017 to 2017, they interned as a Documentary Editorial/Production Intern at The Film Posse, providing administrative and editorial support for a documentary project. Then, in 2018, they worked as a Front Desk Representative at Goldfish Swim School, where they managed schedules, wrote sales materials, and excelled in sales.

In 2018, Casey took on the role of a Library Associate at Boston College, where they organized and labeled print materials and oversaw the shelving of non-circulation items. Following that, they joined the Editorial Freelancers Association as a Freelance Editor in 2018, working with various authors and writers on manuscript development, editing, and timeline management.

In 2019, Casey worked as an Acquisitions Editor at New Degree Press, where they read and edited manuscripts, made publishing recommendations, and managed timelines. Concurrently, they also served as a Senior Library Page at Brookline Library, maintaining the library database, managing periodicals, and liaising with librarians. Finally, in 2021, Casey joined Visible Body as an Assistant Product Manager, responsible for product management tasks. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Associate Product Manager.

Casey Mahalik completed their undergraduate studies from 2014 to 2018 at Boston College. During this time, they pursued courses in English Language and Literature/Letters as well as Film Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Casey went on to pursue a Master's degree at Emerson College from 2018 to 2020. Their field of study during this period was Publishing and Writing.
