Emily Genaway

Emily Genaway has extensive work experience in the education industry. Emily began their career as an Editorial Assistant at Pearson Education in 1998. Emily then worked as a Sales Representative, where they achieved remarkable sales growth and earned recognition as a top performer. Emily later served as an Acquisitions/Project Editor, managing the publishing program and leading the publication of multiple titles. In 2002, they transitioned to the role of Higher Education Sales Consultant, specializing in computer science sales and conducting market research projects. Emily joined Cengage Learning in 2007 as a Higher Education Sales Consultant, covering various territories and generating new book, custom, and technology sales. Emily was promoted to the role of Senior Sales Representative & District Training Specialist where they consistently exceeded sales targets. In 2013, Emily became a District Manager at Cengage Learning, leading a team of 11 sales consultants and driving digital learning market share growth. In 2016, they joined Visible Body as the VP of Sales, responsible for establishing and leading the higher education sales division. During their tenure, they achieved triple-digit growth and developed new sales talent. Emily is currently serving as the SVP of Sales at Visible Body, where they continue to drive sales growth and collaborate on market strategies with marketing and product teams.

From 1994 to 1998, Emily Genaway attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.
