Kara Hagerty

Kara Hagerty has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Kara most recently worked as the Director of Compliance at Vision Ridge Partners, LLC starting in March 2022. Prior to that, Kara served as a Vice President in Legal and Compliance at Starboard Value LP from February 2020 to February 2022. Kara also held the positions of Assistant Vice President and Legal and Compliance Associate at the same company from 2018 to 2020 and 2017 to 2018 respectively. Before joining Starboard Value LP, Kara worked as a Compliance Officer at Falcon Edge Capital LP from November 2015 to January 2017. Kara also gained experience as a Legal and Compliance Associate at Centerbridge Partners from May 2011 to November 2015. Additionally, Kara held paralegal roles at Chaffin Luhana LLP from January 2010 to April 2011 and at Bernstein Liebhard & Lifshitz from 2009 to 2010.

Kara Hagerty obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from Washington and Lee University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, in 2008, they attended Universidad de Sevilla for a brief period and focused on Spanish Language and Literature.
