Maria Pabon

Maria Pabon has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Maria began their career in 1980 as a Programmer/Analyst at Skandia Seguros de Colombia and then moved on to Probolsa Sistemas in 1981, where they held the same role. In 1986, they worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at California State University, Sacramento.

From 1987 to 1994, Maria served as an Associate Programmer Analyst at California Department of General Services. Maria then transitioned to the role of Senior Programmer Analyst at California State Board of Equalization from 1994 to 2000.

Maria joined Legislative Data Center in 2000 as an Information Systems Specialist, where they worked until 2005. Maria then worked as a Technical Lead at Caltrans from 2005 to 2006.

From 2006 to 2016, Maria served as the Project Manager/Product Director/Technical Lead for the Electronic Services Portal (eSP) at the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.

In 2016, Maria worked as a Technical Consultant at Accela until 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Project Manager at Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) since February 2017.

Maria Pabon began their education in 1975 at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. Maria completed their studies in 1983. Alongside their studies at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Maria also attended the Universidad INCCA de Colombia from 1976 to 1982, focusing on Systems Engineering. In 1985, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General at CSUS, where they continue their studies to this day.
