Tom Watts

Tom Watts has a diverse work experience. Tom started their career at McLaren Racing in 2013 as part of the Strategy Team. In 2016, they worked as a Private Tutor at The Profs until 2019. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Lead Engineer at SERG Technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Research Scientist at Visionary Machines starting from November 2021.

Tom Watts attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School from 2003 to 2010. Tom then went on to the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an exchange student, focusing on Mechanical Engineering for a year. Tom pursued further education at Imperial College London from 2014 to 2020, where they earned their PhD in Robotics as a President's Scholar.
