Chris Cordero

Chris Cordero, OD, currently serves as the Director of Doctor Operations at Visionworks of America since October 2018 and has been involved with Walmart in various roles since October 2015, focusing on Optometry Professional Relations. Prior experience includes a position as Regional Manager for Healthcare Recruiting & Campus Relations at Walmart/Sam's Club Health & Wellness from October 2011 to October 2015, with responsibilities centered on recruiting pharmacists and optometrists and managing relations with Colleges of Optometry and Pharmacy in Ohio and Michigan. Chris gained foundational optometric experience through multiple internships at institutions such as Perkins School for the Blind and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 2011. Chris holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry, an Associate of Arts in Ophthalmic Science from Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from New York Institute of Technology.
