Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in real estate development, architecture, and financial management. Currently serving as Chief Visioneer at VisionWorks since 1995, Jim has focused on creating innovative living and working spaces. Previous roles include Vice President of Planning and Development at Universal Studios Hollywood, where responsibilities encompassed major commercial property projects such as CityWalk and essential infrastructure initiatives. Jim's experience extends to leadership roles at Bank of America and Citi, with a strong foundation in financial services and construction. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Architect degree from Columbia University and an MBA in Real Estate Development, also from Columbia, complemented by executive education at Stanford University.
