Michael O'Callaghan

Michael O'Callaghan is a seasoned hospitality executive with extensive experience in hotel management and operations. Most recently, Michael held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau from January 1999 until retirement. Michael served as Chairman of the Board at the Inn at St. Johns from March 2010 to June 2021. Earlier career roles include General Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. overseeing the Westin Hotel Southfield and Novi Hilton Hotel, as well as various general management positions at Westin Hotels, HEI Hotels, HERITAGE NETWORK, and AIRCOA. Michael's educational background includes studies at Northwood University and Henry Ford College.
