Gibson Howard

Gibson Howard is a Marketing Coordinator at VISIT FLORIDA, beginning this role in January 2023. Previously, Gibson served as the Lead Catering & Events Assistant at Opus Coffee, where responsibilities included organizing and executing catering for events in the Gainesville area. Other experiences include an internship at Springtime Tallahassee Festival, Inc. focused on event planning, teaching assistance at Petite Players, and a position at Sleep Solutions of North Florida covering cleaning and administrative tasks. Gibson also held the role of Risk Manager for the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, overseeing safe event execution for a large membership. An internship at Geiger & Associates provided experience in publicity and event organization. Gibson holds a Master of Science in Tourism & Hospitality Management and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Event, and Recreation Management from the University of Florida.
