Stephanie Klett serves as the President & CEO of VISIT Lake Geneva since April 2019, where leadership encompasses both the Visitor & Convention Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce for the renowned destination in Wisconsin. Prior experience includes eight years as Cabinet Secretary for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, appointed by Governor Scott Walker, during which travel expenditures reached record highs. Stephanie has a long-standing background in media, having been the Host/Producer/Writer/Managing Director for Discover Mediaworks and playing a significant role in promoting Wisconsin through the "Discover Wisconsin" program. Additionally, as the President & Founder of Spotlight on Wisconsin, Inc., Stephanie raised significant funds for local nonprofit organizations. Notably, as a Miss America finalist in 1993, Stephanie was the first cornet player to win the Bert Parks Talent Award and advocated for HIV/AIDS education through the "Attitude on AIDS" initiative. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theatre Arts/Communications from Beloit College.
