Jeff Hewitt

Jeff Hewitt, CDME, currently serves as Chief Sales Officer at Visit Savannah since January 2024. Prior to this role, Hewitt held the position of Executive Vice President at Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee Island from October 2010 to January 2024, contributing to the destination marketing efforts for both Savannah and the coastal community of Tybee Island. Hewitt's extensive background in tourism includes serving as Senior Director at Visit Charlotte from 2003 to 2010 and Director of Sales at Visit Tampa Bay from 1998 to 2003, where efforts focused on aligning sales activities with local hotel needs and enhancing revenue growth. Hewitt's career began as Director of Sales at Registry Resort from 1992 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a BA in Communications from Michigan State University.
