Catalin Alexandru Moraru

Catalin Alexandru Moraru is an accomplished Software Engineering Manager at Visma since April 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of a cloud ERP system for the Norwegian market, utilizing technologies such as AWS, React, Java, Spring, and Aurora. Previously, Catalin served as a Senior Software Engineer in various companies, including BearingPoint, Nokia, ACI Worldwide, and Dublin City University, specializing in full-stack development and integration across diverse projects, such as telecommunications support systems and IoT applications. Catalin holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara. Notable achievements include co-authoring a research article at the IEEE Nurnberg BMSB2011 conference and winning an award for best project presentation during an internship.
