Paul Popa

Paul Popa is a seasoned professional in product design and UI/UX with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Since January 2006, Paul has held various positions at Visma, currently serving as Product Design Lead & UI/UX Designer, where responsibilities include guiding the graphical production team and ensuring adherence to internal standards while enhancing user experience. Previous roles at Visma include Product Lead & UI/UX Designer and Senior UI/UX Designer, alongside contributing as a stakeholder for defining project goals and user needs. Prior to Visma, Paul worked as a Senior Graphic/Web Designer at Noblesse SRL and as a Graphic Designer at Gaming Evolution SRL, where responsibilities ranged from managing creative processes for print media to developing graphic designs for promotional materials. Earlier in the career, Paul specialized in wood carving and sculpture techniques rooted in traditional European art styles. Paul’s educational background includes vocational training in IT & Communication and wood carving, complemented by a high school diploma in Constructions and Architecture.
