Abraham de Jong has a diverse work experience history. Abraham started their career in 2007 at Brink Group as a Junior Product Manager, where they conducted market research and various analyses. In 2010, they joined Visscher-Caravelle and worked as a Cost Controller, monitoring project performance and assisting with monthly closing activities. From 2011 to 2015, Abraham served as a Controller at Visscher-Caravelle, where they established and managed the Controlling department and implemented monthly closing routines and procedures. In 2015, they took on the role of Group Controller, responsible for overseeing Group Controlling and implementing consolidation software. Currently, Abraham is working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Visscher-Caravelle, leading the Global Cyber Security Team and drafting and implementing the Corporate Cyber Security Policy.
Abraham de Jong has an Executive Master of Finance and Control degree from the University of Groningen, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in International Business and Management from the same university from 2006 to 2007. Abraham holds a Bachelor's degree in Bedrijfskunde from the University of Groningen, completed from 2002 to 2007. Abraham completed their Gymnasium education at Scholengemeenschap Pieter Zandt from 1996 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals in 2022.
