Jed Simson

Jed Simson started their career in 2015 as an Electronics Assembler - Tester/Programmer at Rennacs Ltd. in November 2015 and worked until January 2017. In November 2016, they joined Vista Entertainment Solutions as a Development Intern and worked until February 2017, gaining experience in C#, VB.NET, and SQL. Jed then joined Vista in January 2018 as a Graduate Software Developer until June 2019. In June 2019, they transitioned into the role of a Software Developer, focusing on Loyalty/Subscriptions capabilities and mentoring graduates and interns. In April 2022, Jed became a Squad Lead and Software Developer at Vista, where they are responsible for various projects, including the implementation of a subscription-based system for Loyalty memberships and integration with VOD platforms. Jed also led the implementation of an auditing system for tracking actions against member accounts.

Jed Simson has a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Computing and Mathematical Sciences from The University of Waikato, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they attended The University of Auckland and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Music Conjoint.
