Kathy Wachter

Kathy Wachter, CPA (inactive), has a comprehensive work experience in the field of accounting. Kathy served as the Director of Accounting at Vista Outdoor Inc. since July 2020 and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of SG&A budgeting and forecasting. Prior to this, from June 2016 to July 2020, Kathy held the position of Senior Finance Manager, Budgets and Forecasting at the same company, presenting monthly results to the senior executive team and working closely with senior executives for budget and forecast guidance. Prior to ATK, Kathy served as an Audit Manager at Froehling Anderson from December 2007 to October 2013, specializing in small business audits and reviews, and managing audits of employee benefit plans. Kathy also worked as a Senior Accountant at Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP from November 2005 to November 2007. Kathy's career began at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in December 1999 as a Senior Accountant, where they provided tax planning and preparation services for small businesses and their owners, as well as consulting services for clients in the medical and dental industries.

Kathy Wachter, CPA (inactive), obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting/Business from Black Hills State University from 1990 to 1993. Kathy did not pursue any further education at South Dakota Mines. Additionally, they hold the certification of Certified Public Accountant, although it is currently inactive.
