John Markatos

John Markatos, PMP, has extensive experience in program and project management, primarily at VISTA Technology Services Inc. since March 2001. As a Program Manager, Markatos leads teams of over 20 experts in the Army's Installation Status Report program, manages analytical teams for the Installation Management Analytics, and oversees the Integrated Decision Support Team, formulating significant budget requirements annually. Previous roles include project management and business analysis for systems development in various federal initiatives, including Base Realignment and Closure and Federal Real Property Support. Markatos served as a Captain in the US Army from 1994 to 2000 and holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
