Acilio Gala

Acilio Gala is an experienced medical and regulatory affairs professional currently serving as the District Community Service Chair and Assistant Governor for Group 13 at Rotary International since July 2023. Additionally, Acilio holds the position of Vice President and previously President at Rotary Club Lisboa Benfica, and serves as a CEOs Group Leader at Vistage Portugal. Acilio's extensive career in healthcare includes leadership roles in global medical affairs and regulatory departments at prominent pharmaceutical companies such as Vifor Pharma, BIAL, Merck Serono, Rottapharm | Madaus, EMD Serono, and ASTA Medica. Acilio Gala holds a Medical Doctor degree from NOVA Medical School and has completed post-graduation courses in Pharmaceutical Medicine and health care administration.
