Simon Leung

Simon Leung has a diverse work experience in various IT infrastructure and services roles. Simon began their career as an Assistant System Engineer at ING Life Insurance Company in 2006. Simon then worked at ING Life Insurance/FWD Life Insurance Company as a System Engineer, where they were involved in the acquisition of ING Life Insurance's business and the establishment of the FWD Philippines data center. In 2014, Simon joined FWD Life Insurance Company as a Senior System Engineer and worked there until 2016. Simon then took on roles at FWD Life Insurance Company as an Assistant IT Manager, Manager of IT infrastructure and Services, and Senior Manager of IT infrastructure and Services. In these roles, they achieved various milestones such as standardizing the Singapore DR model, revamping the backup solution, and establishing the FWD Malaysia data center. Simon's most recent position is a System Administrator at VistaJet, which they started in 2022.

Simon Leung obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Simon has also obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in October 2021, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft in November 2020, the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)2 in November 2011, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty from Microsoft in July 2022.
