Andrew Wollacott

Andrew Wollacott has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and organizations.

Andrew began their career at Penn State University in 1998 as a Graduate Student, where they remained until 2005. Following this, they joined the University of Washington as a Postdoc from August 2005 to November 2007.

In 2007, Andrew Wollacott moved to Monsanto, starting as a Scientist in Protein Design from December 2007 until January 2010 before being promoted to Lead in Protein Design, where they worked from January 2010 to January 2014.

Since 2014, Andrew Wollacott has been employed at Visterra Inc. Andrew started as a Senior Scientist from January 2014 to March 2016 and then progressed to the position of Principal Scientist from March 2016 to December 2018. Andrew then served as an Associate Director of Research from January 2019 to January 2021, followed by the role of Director of Research from January 2021 to February 2023. Currently, Andrew Wollacott holds the position of Senior Director of Research at Visterra Inc. starting from January 2023.

Andrew Wollacott obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Regis University between 1996 and 1998. Andrew then pursued a PhD in Chemistry at Penn State University, completing their studies between 1998 and 2005.
