Greg Babcock has accumulated extensive work experience in the biomedical research field. Greg started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute beginning in 2000. From there, they joined UMass Medical School as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in June 2003 and was later promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine in October 2010. In 2002, Greg joined MassBiologics where they held various roles such as R&D Scientist II and III, Director of Product Discovery, and eventually became the Deputy Director (Vice President) of Product Discovery until January 2013. Since January 2013, they have been working at Visterra Inc., where they started as the Executive Director of Research and was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Research. Currently, Greg holds the position of Senior Vice President of Research at Visterra Inc.
Greg Babcock obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1988 and 1992. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Immunology at Tufts University from 1994 to 2000.
