Meranda Carter Cohn

Meranda Carter Cohn has extensive experience in the field of communications and media relations. Meranda started their career in 1999 as an Assistant Producer for Kidd Kraddick In The Morning. Meranda then worked as a Weekend Anchor for KFDA - NewsChannel 10 from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, they joined News 9 San Antonio as a Reporter. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the Director of Communications, District 8/9 for the City of San Antonio. Meranda then moved on to the City of Dallas, where they held roles such as Chief of Staff/Public Information Manager in the Dallas Mayor's Office and GreenDallas Media Relations Manager/Public Information Officer. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Luminant as a Communications Specialist, Manager of Corporate Communications, and Senior Manager of Media Relations/Corporate Communications. Currently, they are employed at Vistra Corp., where they have held various roles including Corporate Spokesperson, Director of Corporate Affairs, and Chief Spokesperson and Sr. Director of Communications & Media Relations.

Meranda Carter Cohn obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas. Meranda completed their studies in 1999.
