Robert Schäfer

Robert Schäfer has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Robert is currently the Head of HR for Vistra Germany and Switzerland since October 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of HR at GULP - experts united / a Randstad Company from 2014 to 2020. Robert also worked as an Engagement Manager and Project Manager at Kienbaum Management Consultants from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Munich Re (Group), including Senior Consultant HR Strategy & Planning, HR Manager/HR Business Partner, and HR Manager/HR Specialist Learning & Development, where they were involved in implementing HR shared services and leading relocation projects.

Robert Schäfer earned a Diplom-Psychologe degree specializing in Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München between 1992 and 1998. Robert later obtained a Master of Business Administration in International Business Management from Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten between 2009 and 2011. Robert also holds additional certifications including Diplom-Psychologe (Univ.) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Professional School of Business & Technology, Hochschule Kempten.
