Wayne Smart

Wayne Smart has a diverse work experience spanning various marketing roles. Wayne most recent role was as the Global Country Marketing Director at VISTRA starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Director of Product and Sector Marketing at the same company starting in September 2021. Before joining VISTRA, Wayne was the Head of Retail Investment Marketing at Octopus from August 2019 to March 2020. Wayne also held various positions at Travelers, including Innovation Lead (Europe) from November 2018 to August 2019 and Head of Marketing (Europe) from December 2015 to November 2018. Wayne has also worked at AXA Personal Lines as a Senior Propositions and Strategy Manager from February 2015 to November 2015, Senior Business Manager from November 2013 to January 2015, and Senior Marketing Manager from October 2012 to November 2013. Earlier in their career, Wayne worked as a Customer Marketing Manager and Assistant Customer Marketing Manager at BNP Paribas Personal Finance from September 2011 to October 2012 and from April 2009 to September 2011, respectively. Wayne also worked as a Product Manager at Welcome Financial Services Ltd from August 2007 to April 2009 and as a Marketing Executive at Brooksby Melton College Leicester UK from June 2005 to August 2007.

Wayne Smart attended Staffordshire University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their BA (Hons) degree in Leisure and Marketing Management.
