James Raboin

James Raboin is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in Unreal Engine development and machine learning. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Visual Concepts since April 2023, James's previous experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where responsibilities focused on generating synthetic 2D data for HoloLens hand-tracking ML models, and Software Developer at DreamView, where James pioneered Unreal Engine development, implementing artist tooling and asset pipelines. Prior to these positions, James worked at PVM, Inc. as Software Developer II, utilizing Java and Python for data ingestion, and served as Network Administrator in the Air National Guard. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University, completed in 2017.
