Peter Andersen currently serves as Chief Research & Development Officer at TreeFrog Therapeutics and is a member of the Board of Directors at Jellatech. Andersen holds an adjunct professorship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, focusing on heart and muscle development, iPSC-based disease modeling, and cell and gene therapies. Previous roles include Assistant Professor and Director of the JHU Stem Cell Program, where efforts were directed toward manufacturing high-quality induced pluripotent stem cells. As co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Vita Therapeutics, innovative cell-based therapies are engineered. Andersen is also involved with byFounders as an ambassador and has held various positions within Johns Hopkins University and other prestigious institutions, contributing substantially to research on cardiac development and regenerative medicine, along with a solid academic background in molecular biology and biology from Københavns Universitet.
