Sam Llewellyn

Director, Patient-centered Research at Vitaccess

Sam Llewellyn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sam is currently working at Vitaccess as an Associate Director, Patient Centered Research. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at the same company.

Before joining Vitaccess, Sam worked at ICON plc where they served as a Project Manager within the Patient Centred Outcomes (PCO) team. Their responsibilities included leading project meetings and client communication, budget and timeline management, selection and management of suppliers, and supporting proposal preparation. Sam also held roles at ICON as a Senior Project Analyst and Associate Outcomes Researcher, where they were involved in data analysis, research proposal development, budget management, and client communication.

Sam's earlier work experience includes volunteering at Prior's Court Foundation, where they assisted in running sessions integrated within the pupils' curriculum and conducted observations and administrative work alongside assistant clinical psychologists. Sam also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Downs School, supporting statemented children and acting as an exam reader. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Swansea University, conducting trials for a research project on human processing of biological motion.

Sam Llewellyn began their education at Bexley Grammar School, where they attended from 2005 to 2007. Sam then moved on to The Downs School, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Following this, Sam attended The Downs School Sixth Form from 2010 to 2012. Sam obtained their Bachelor's Degree in BSc Psychology (Hons) from Swansea University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Their education continued at Oxford Brookes University, where they pursued a Master of Public Health - MPH degree from 2018 to 2021.
