Praveen Kumar

Praveen Kumar is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as Scientist III at Vital Bio since January 2022, Praveen previously held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center from March 2021 to January 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Scientist role at GeneStore India, focusing on the development of a Real-time PCR-based assay for genotype-specific infection, as well as a PhD Researcher at the National Institute of Immunology, where Praveen investigated miRNA-gene regulatory networks during oxidative stress-induced DNA damage. Earlier, Praveen worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Delhi University, identifying inhibitors against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Praveen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the National Institute of Immunology and an MSc in Biochemistry from Delhi University.
