Steve Bullington

Senior System Engineer / Cloud Engineer at Vital Data Technology

Steve Bullington has worked in the IT industry since 2000. Steve began their career at MetLife as a Systems Engineer, where they implemented and maintained production Storage Area Networks (SANs) using HPs EMA12000 and EVA5000 in a high availability configuration. Steve then moved to First American in 2004, where they were promoted to SAN Manager and architected, purchased, and deployed 3 EVA5000 SANs totaling 26 TB of raw storage and 18.5 TB of managed data. In 2006, they joined AutoWeb, Inc. as a Cloud Engineer and was responsible for architecting and managing Autoweb's entire Azure cloud environment. In this role, they managed 6 subscriptions, 60 virtual servers, and 3 application gateways across three zones that served Autoweb's North American operations. Steve was later promoted to Manager, Engineering and Operations (US), where they were responsible for strategic planning, project management, on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, as well as disaster recovery strategies. Steve then moved to Vital Data Technology in 2022, where they are currently employed as a Senior System Engineer / Cloud Engineer.

Steve Bullington attended San Diego State University, where they studied Physiological Psychology. Steve then attended Irvine Valley College from 2004 to 2006, where they studied System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager.
