Adam Walter

Director Of Web Services & Technology at Vital Design

Adam Walter has an extensive work experience in the field of web development, design, and technology.

Starting in 2007, Adam worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Wiley-Blackwell, where they focused on creating web and print projects for advertising. Adam also managed press-ready art, collaborated with marketers, and ensured timely project delivery.

In 2010, Adam joined O'Rourke Hospitality Marketing as a Web Designer + Developer. Here, they were responsible for designing and developing WordPress-powered websites, video presentations, and digital marketing campaigns. Adam also configured client web servers, collaborated on mobile application development, and maintained Drupal sites.

From 2013 to the present, Adam has been with Vital Design, initially as the Director of Development. Adam led a team of developers, managed web technology infrastructure, and implemented security protocols. As a member of the leadership team, Adam contributed to the selection of new technologies and security requirements.

Currently, Adam holds the position of Director of Web Services & Technology at Vital Design. Reporting directly to the CEO, they oversee a team of web developers and client service specialists. Adam ensures that Vital's product offerings, such as web hosting, website security, and monthly maintenance, are efficient and up-to-date. Adam also sets and maintains the technical direction for the company, manages hosting infrastructures and servers, and establishes business processes and procedures in these areas.

Adam Walter attended Northeastern University from 2003 to 2007, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. During their time at Northeastern, they studied various subjects including Web Design, Interactive Design, Design Principles, Typography, and Graphic Design. Prior to attending Northeastern, Adam attended North Shore Community College from 1999 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Digital Graphic Design. In addition to that, they also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1997 to 1999, where they focused on Computer Engineering, although they did not earn a degree from this institution.
