Rafael Fonseca

Rafael Fonseca is an engineer at Vital. Rafael previously worked as a team lead for SRE at 8i from July 2017 to January 2018. Their responsibilities included reducing infrastructure costs, improving service reliability and simplifying delivery workflows. Rafael also worked as a senior systems engineer at Pushpay from December 2016 to July 2017, where they were responsible for the integration, maintenance and operation of an acquired Node.js platform built on top of various AWS services. Rafael has also worked as a principal engineer at Vend from September 2014 to December 2016 and as a senior systems engineer at Actionstep from May 2009 to September 2014.

Rafael Fonseca has a degree in economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a degree in marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas. Rafael also has a certification from VMware in VMware Certified Professional.

They work with Grace Hall - Engineer, Bobby Donald - Engineer, and Jason Ellison - Engineering. Their manager is Te Riu-Warren, Chief Technical Officer.
