Chief Medical Officer at VitalThings

Ole Kristian Thu's work experience began in 2006 when they served as a UNIFIL II member for the United Nations. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as an ambulance intern at Helse Stavanger, Stavanger Universitetssjukehus. In 2011, they joined NTNU as a medical student researcher and continued in that role until 2022. During this time, they also worked as a nurse at St. Olavs Hospital, Trondheim University Hospital, from June to August 2014. In 2015, Ole co-founded Norsk Redningsdrone and served as a co-founder until now. Ole Kristian started their medical career at St. Olavs Hospital in 2015 as a medical student with a license, and their role continued until June 2022. In 2016, they interned at Levanger Hospital until June 2022. Most recently, Ole became the Chief Medical Officer at VitalThings in August 2021, where they currently hold the position.

Ole Kristian Thu's education history begins in 2007 when they attended the University of Stavanger for Fransk (French). In the same year, they also studied Religion/Religious Studies at Volda University College (HVO). From 2009 to 2016, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Continuing their education at NTNU, they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Medicine since 2017.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Ole Kristian Thu has obtained certifications in Paragliding PP2 from Norges luftsportforbund in October 2015, and in Diving from PADI, although the specific months and years of obtaining the diving certification are not provided.
