Sophia Nasti

Sophia Nasti, PhD, is an experienced educator and researcher currently serving as an Instructor and Course Developer at VITAL THOUGHT, where Sophia creates and teaches humanities-driven content courses. As a Teaching Fellow at Yogic Studies, Sophia manages student engagement for Buddhist studies modules. Previously, at Harvard University, Sophia conducted extensive qualitative research resulting in a dissertation and has taught various courses across multiple programs while handling learning objectives for over 300 students. Sophia’s background includes cataloging works at Harvard Library, leading editorial efforts at Unconditional Care, and supporting educational initiatives through America Reads*America Counts. Sophia holds a Doctor of Philosophy in South Asian Studies, along with multiple degrees from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
