Mary Wiegel

Mary Wiegel has extensive work experience in the field of blood banking and cord blood services. Mary began their career in 1998 as a Business Development Manager at Central Blood Bank and later transitioned to the role of Senior Business Development Manager at Central Blood Bank of Pittsburgh in 2004. In 2007, Mary joined ITxM Cord Blood Services as a Program Manager / Educator, where they played a vital role in developing the cord blood program in Western PA and educating healthcare professionals and community members about the benefits of cord blood donation. Mary's most recent position is as a Senior Manager of Operations at Vitalant, a role they have held since October 2018.
