Wanja Matthews has a strong background in actuarial analysis, with experience in various companies such as Discovery Limited, AXA, Willis Towers Watson, and ABSA. Currently serving as a Senior Manager Analytics at Vitality, Wanja has expertise in healthcare analytics, pensions consultation, and valuation. Wanja's career highlights include projects such as regional and hospital mortality analysis using machine learning techniques and consultation for one of the largest pension funds in South Africa. With a degree in Maths & Stats from the University of Johannesburg and Actuarial qualifications from the Faculty of Actuaries, Wanja has demonstrated a strong analytical and problem-solving skill set throughout their career.
