David Young

David Young is a Senior Software Engineer and Front End Developer at VitalSource Technologies since February 2016, specializing in greenfield development of asset management applications using technologies such as React, Redux, NodeJS, Ruby, and Rails. Prior experience includes serving as Lead UX/UI Engineer and UI Engineer at BuildLinks, where David focused on creating intuitive user interfaces and leading UI design efforts to support business requirements through various development methodologies. David's earlier role as Creative Director, Senior Web Designer, and UI Architect at Cape Fear Webmasters involved custom website design and UI implementation with a strong emphasis on client branding and user experience. David began their career as a Store Manager at Pin Digital, handling inventory and client account management. David studied at East Carolina University from 1995 to 1996.
